TRADE
FAIR OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY 2007
The fair is organized annually by the Chamber of Commerce
and Industry, towards the end of November. Manufacturing
companies as well as wholesalers, distributors and market
traders participate in this trade fair. Participants get the
opportunity to exchange information amongst each other and
to provide the consumer with information about their
products and services. They also get the chance to present
what they are capable of to the community at large.
CIC chooses to participate in the trade fair because it
represents a unique opportunity to directly interact with
the consumer. It is therefore very important to be
successful at the fair. The trade fair offers the
possibility to provide information to the consumer
concerning the current products and in particular the new
products.
Products newly introduced during the Trade fair 2007 are:
Ozon wasverzachter "new look"
Klinol Lavender
Ozon disinfectant Cleaner "new"
Ozon Scouring Crème "new"
350ml Juice Bottle
CIC has become well known for offering beautiful and
high-quality plastic items in attractive colours every year.
Every year there are various products which attract the
attention of faithful consumers, for instance every year the
laundry baskets are a big hit.
The different chemical products in attractive colours and
different fragrances are also very popular, for instance the
fabric softeners, hand dishwashing liquids and many more.
This year CIC was successful again with special offers on
chemical as well as plastic products.
At the fair CIC also wants to satisfy their small "customers"
by organizing the annually returning colouring competition,
which children cannot resist when visiting the CIC stand.
With their presence at the trade fair, CIC strives to
inform a large number of consumers once a year through
direct contact about their new products. Each year CIC
introduces new products at the trade fair, which arouses the
curiosity of many visitors and automatically leads them to
the CIC stand. CIC also wants to remind the customer about
their existing quality products. The press interviews
visitors at the fair and informs the entire Surinamese
community about what CIC offers at the fair.
CIC presents its many different products at the fair, so
that the customer is able to choose from a wide variety of
products. They also want to meet the customer with special
offers. Moreover, with their slogan "Sranan Sani, Wi Sani" (which
more or less means: Surinamese products, our products), CIC
wants to make the customer aware that they offer quality
products made in Suriname. In addition, with the slogan "We
Clean The Caribbean", CIC points out that their products are
not only used by the Surinamese community, but are also very
well established in the Caribbean.
THEME
"The growth of the Ozon line"
Two years ago during the Trade fair 2004 CIC started the
introduction of their new Ozon line. Last year the new
laundry detergent, Ozon Power Active, was introduced which
turned the Ozon line into a comprehensive line of high
quality household cleaning products. The Ozon line has been
further developed by adding new varieties to its different
product groups. There still lays a lot ahead concerning this
line.
Besides the Ozon line there is also the Sun line which is
still small but growing. There is also the Witboi brand of
detergents, which got a new Superplus formula and design and
does not stay behind concerning developments of the other
two lines.
With the Ozon, Sun and Witboi detergents and other
cleaning products it is now clear that the customer has a
wide variety of products to choose from.
With these products CIC once again lives up to their
motto………..
"We Clean the Caribbean!!!!"
